Michał Botor is a pianist, organist, improviser and composer. He graduated with distinction from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, where he studied piano and organ. His artistic activity includes classical performance, piano and organ improvisation, composition, arrangement, chamber music and teaching.

He has performed in Italy, France, the Netherlands, Lithuania and throughout Poland. He has taken part in international masterclasses and festivals, including Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, Bach en Drôme des Collines in Saint-Donat-sur-l’Herbasse and the International Organ Festival Haarlem. He is a prizewinner of competitions in performance, composition and improvisation.
